Paul’s back and Baby’s healthy!

Well, after what seemed a long time, I have my dear husband back at home, safe and sound, and narrowly escaping the floods that seem to have hit the UK. On Saturday I managed to get an appointment with my hairdresser, and she cut my hair into the funky new hairstyle I have now, which is great, and I love it. Good new is so does Paul (whew!). Then I went to visit my folks at the coffee shop to wait for Paul to get back. His flight from Heathrow was delayed by an hour due to the floods that were starting already. He eventually landed in Durban at about 11:30am and I was very pleased to have him home safely. We popped into the shops to get some lunch, and then home, where he showed off the pictures from his trip, and then had a lovely sleep almost all afternoon.

Sunday was a busy morning, with our home group on Food station duty at church. It was the last time that we as a group will be on duty, as the group is now, sadly, disbanded, to make way for the new Life Groups that are starting within the church. Then it was up the hill to visit Dad and Peggy. It was a lovely relaxing day, and we both fell asleep for most of the afternoon.

This morning was the second scan… Dr C was a little late; he had to deliver a baby at 4am this morning so I think it was alright. Then it was the scan, and we saw our lil one again. It has grown so much and measures 6.34cm from crown to rump, and Dr said that it is healthy and everything is looking good. Baby was moving around a lot, and we got to see it putting it’s hand up a few times, as well it’s little knees all pulled up, and of course it was arching it’s back, and active – definitely Paul’s child. I have uploaded copies of the scan here.
